Louisburg High School

Secondary Teacher of the Year is Kathryn Siefken.  She is a Spanish Teacher at Louisburg High School.  Siefken was nominated for making learning fun, yet pushes her students to become proficient in a whole other language.   She has successfully initiated and continued the seal of biliteracy program at the high school.  Seifken is also  co-sponsor for STUCO and coach.  Seifken has also provided opportunities for her Spanish learners to travel abroad.  Seifken has been teaching Spanish at USD #416 since August 2014.  Congratulations Ms. Siefken!
