Notice is hereby given pursuant to K.S.A. 72-3126, of a public hearing to be held on the 13th day of
November, 2023, at 6:00 pm at 29020 Mission Belleview Road regarding the Unified School District No.
416, Miami County, Kansas proposed policy to determine the number of nonresident students that the
school district has the capacity to accept in each grade level for each school of the school district
pursuant to K.S.A. 72-3123, and amendments thereto, including clearly specifying the reasons that the
board may use to deny continued enrollment of a nonresident student who is not in good standing.
A representative of the board shall present the board’s proposal for the policy, and the board shall hear
testimony regarding the proposed policy
Louisburg Middle School invites you to shop our annual Scholastic Book Fair to encourage reading and support our school! The Book Fair will be held during school hours and parent-teacher conferences the week of October 9-12, 2023. Quality books, posters, journals, and bookmarks will be displayed for sale in the LMS Library. All LMS Students will have the opportunity to shop during their literature class during the week. Families wishing to shop may do so during LMS Parent-Teacher Conference on Wednesday, October 11 and Thursday, October 12.
