Young Director's Award
Our own LMS and LHS Choir Director, Jason Sickel, was awarded the Kansas Choral Director Association's "Young Director's Award" this past summer. This award is given to an outstanding Choral Director in his first 5 years of teaching, and was awarded to Jason at the KCDA Convention last July.
We all know that Jason is a fine Choral Director, a good teacher and a warm and funny guy to work with, but it is also nice to know that others in the State of Kansas have also chosen to recognize Jason for his outstanding work in the field of choral music and choral teaching.
